Monitoring repair works on the ABL

During the past days EUMM has been monitoring electricity works being carried out on the Rukhi Bridge. Due to its position on the Administrative Boundary Line, prior to the works commencing EUMM liaison officers were actively involved in the use of the hotline with all security actors in the area to ensure work could be carried out in a secure environment. The necessary electricity maintenance has now been completed and the situation remained calm throughout. The EU Monitoring Mission wishes to express appreciation to all parties involved for the constructive approach.
