To participate in the contest, the applicant must fill the online application form with the listed annexes until 18:00, November 1, 2022.

Please submit the following supporting materials:

1) For the best story (A), feature story (B), investigative story (C), blog opinion or column (D), the most innovative and original work (E), Best student work (I)  in print or online media participants must submit

•  an electronic file (link) of the submission with the name of the applicant and the category clearly marked;
• an electronic file with a photocopy of the print edition or a link and screenshot from an online edition to prove that it was published.

2) For the best feature story (B) investigative story (C), the most innovative and original work (E). Best student work (I) in broadcast or online media participants must submit:

• an electronic file of the submission with the name of the applicant and the category clearly marked. In case of large files, applicants can submit permanent online links if  available or upload them on YouTube and submit the link;

• a script of the video.
• a permanent link and/or a screenshot of the submission to prove that it was published.
• a permanent screenshot of the submission to prove that it was published within the deadlines required.

3) For the best documentary photo participants must submit:

• high quality electronic .jpg file of the submission with the name of the applicant and category clearly marked. Images must not include any embedded marks, logos, names or borders. In the case of large files, applicants can submit permanent online links if available or upload the files on Flickr and submit the link;
• a  brief caption of the image (max 250 words), along with the title and the date of the publication in which the photo was published;
• an electronic file with the photocopy of the print edition or a screenshot to prove that it was published;

4. For the best Student work participants must submit:

• Proof of bachelor’s student status, from private or state university accredited in Georgia

For the best conflict-sensitive journalistic work contributing to confidence-building and peace in the context of armed conflicts in Georgia, displaying high standards of journalistic ethics and professionalism ( The EUMM Special Prize for Peace Journalism) participants must apply in the same way and submit an online Application Form with the same supporting materials as is mentioned above for other categories.
