15th anniversary of the establishment of EUMMs mandate

15 years ago, on 15 September 2008, the European Union established the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia by Council Decision. 2 weeks later, on 1 October 2008, our first monitors arrived in Georgia. Since that day, our Mission has been contributing to stability in Georgia and the wider region, through our 24/7 monitoring presence and our confidence building efforts.
