31.08.2012
On 29 August three officials of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Georgia visited the EUMM Field Office in Gori. The group joined a patrol to the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) to South Ossetia. EUMM is monitoring the situation there every day and has up to 15 patrols per day, during day- and nighttime. The Czech delegation observed the area and obtained first-hand information from EUMM. Field Office Gori is responsible for monitoring the compliance with the 2008 ceasefire agreement from the village Oni in the West up to Tvaurebi in the East and covers almost 300 kilometres of the Administrative Boundary Line.
