On 23 June, the Head of the EU Monitoring Mission (EUMM), Ambassador Marek Szczygieł, met with the Minister of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia, Mr. Vakhtang Gomelauri.
The Head of Mission updated the Minister on EUMM’s work, including within the framework of the Incident Response and Prevention Mechanism (IPRM) meetings in Ergneti, which the Mission co-facilitates.
Minister Gomelauri thanked the Mission for its work and presence on the ground.
