Today the Acting Head of the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM), Dr. Tibor Kozma hosted a delegation from the Republic of Moldova, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Oleg Serebrian in the Mission Headquarters in Tbilisi.
During the meeting, Dr. Kozma provided a brief overview of the security situation at the Administrative Boundary Lines with Abkhazia and South Ossetia and highlighted EUMM’s commitment to maintaining a visible 24/7 patrolling presence on the ground. The importance of continuing regular Ergneti IPRM meetings was also underlined, stressing that this platform is of particular importance for defusing tensions and resolving security issues on the ground.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the informative meeting and EUMM’s contribution to stability in Georgia and the wider region.
