On 29 November, as part of #16Days2023, EUMM women monitors played a football match with girls from the Kvakhvreli public school, showcasing a united commitment to shattering gender stereotypes.
Prior to the match, EUMM women monitors discussed gender equality challenges and the fight against gender-based violence in EU countries with the schoolchildren. The children actively shared their perspectives and experiences, sparking a vibrant discussion.
EUMM remains dedicated to raising awareness about human rights of the conflict-affected population. In villages near the ABL, we strive to contribute to a safe environment, encouraging youth to combat gender-based stereotypes and violence for a more equal, peaceful, and secure community.
