The EUMM Human Security Team of Field Office Gori, in cooperation with the Gori Young Lawyers’ Association (GYLA), organised a round table discussion on 6th March for central ministries, local authorities and utility companies. The event focused upon investment projects in villages along the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) and highlighted significant progress since a similar meeting organised by EUMM in 2013. Participants also discussed outstanding needs of the population affected by the conflict in numerous sectors including road infrastructure, irrigation and drinking water. The meeting proved a good opportunity for identifying priorities, sharing information and coordination for the organisations present.
