The Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Parliament of the Republic of Ireland were briefed at EUMM HQ during their visit to Georgia. The delegation consisted of Mr. Pat Breen, T.D. (Member of Parliament), Chairman of the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade; Mr. Eric Byrne, T.D., Committee Member; and Mr. Noel Murphy, Clerk to the Committee.
The Committee members were greeted by Erik Hoeeg, Deputy Head of Mission, and by EUMM HQ staff; and received a briefing on the Mission and its roles and activities. Afterwards Mr. Breen as Chairman of the Committee expressed their appreciation for the excellent and interesting brief they received, and for the work the mission is conducting of behalf of the European Union.
